The pace of change in Summit County continues to threaten the already endangered life of the committed ski area employee. Those of us who work hard to keep our mountains open, skiable, and safe need the support of our community more than ever. That is why we at the A-Basin Ski Patrol chose to unionize. We believe in advocating on behalf of each other. We believe in trying to raise the standard of living for our patrol. Most importantly, we believe that our efforts benefit not only our line patrollers, but also the mountain workers of Summit County as a whole.
